Publisher review:New Statistics Tools in MATLAB and the Statistics - M-files used in the webinar held on November 18, 2004. These are the M-files that accompany the webinar titled "New Statistics Tools in MATLAB and the Statistics Toolbox.
This webinar goes through 2 demos, described below:1) Analysis of survival data from motion controllers - this demo uses the Distribution Fitting Tool as well as command-line functions to fit distributions to censored reliability data from a motion controller. To run this demo, execute 'survivalscript.m' in cell execution mode. This demo is also used in the MATLAB Digest article titled "Modeling Survival Data with the Statistics Toolbox."
2) Multivariate analysis of semiconductor thickness data - this demo analyzes oxide layer thickness data for semiconductor wafers using a host of multivariate techniques, including cluster analysis, parallel coordinate plots, glyph plots, multivariate analysis of variance, multidimensional scaling, and several others. To run this demo, execute 'multivariatescript.m' in cell execution mode. Requirements: · MATLAB Release: R14 · Statistics Toolbox
